Punk Rock Veteran's Day

Rodney Binghenheimer and The Eyes/Go Go's Charlotte Caffey. This photo wasn't taken at the Masque, but at a record release party for the Plimsouls years after the Masque closed but its the kind of photo you could have taken at the Masque, as The Masque was the punk rock place in Los Angeles... rehearsal space, gigs, hanging out... it all happened there. It quickly became Ground Zero for LA punk and now, 30 years later, Punk Rock Veterans help celebrate the photo book about the Masque by the club's proprietor and LA punk historian Brendan Mullen.

I'm sorry I can't be in LA for this show - I'm still on the road and will be in LA just a week after the Masque reunion... but I urge everyone to go - its the LA punk rock event of the year!
