Rodney Gets a Hollywood Blvd. Star

Rodney Bingenheimer on Sunset Blvd. in front of an art house theatre running one of his favorite flicks - "Pretty Baby" starring Brooke Shields. In the background, if you look closely enough, you can see the sign for Denny's, one of Rodney's regular haunts. Its been torn down now, replaced by a pseudo upscale Eurotrash eaterie.

Rodney was a Los Angeles punk rock kingmaker and local music supporter through his radio show Rodney on the ROQ. And now he is getting a star on Hollywood Blvd., right in front of the Knitting Factory. It's all happening on Friday, March 9 and KROQ is throwing a big old concert afterwards to celebrate. KROQ has all the details on their website. And as usual... they're only charging $10.67 admission. You see, KROQ's location on the dial is at 106.7 FM.
