Kim Fowley's Stars of Tomorrow

Is that a Lamp?

On Wednesday, December 7 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Lamps will headline the decades-on-going Kim Fowley's Stars of Tomorrow showcase. Also on the bill are: The Substitutes, The Loons, Jessie Deluxe and Don Bolles on the turntables.

Yes, Don Bolles, Germs drummer is a busy man these days.

These are the Germs but of course, that's not Don in the photo

GERMS

But you get the idea....Back in 1977, Kim Fowley did one of these "Stars of Tomorrow" showcases and The Germs played it. I actually have photos from that show. They'll be making their exhibition debut in 2006... but I may unveil a live Germs shot or two for you for Christmas...

If you're in Southern California, you should come to the show - its a cheap $5 ticket and you get to see four bands PLUS Don Bolles DJing. That's value!

This concert is being filmed; if you're coming - wear your boldest finery.
