Runaway Success

No, Runaway Joan Jett was not there last night, but original Runaway Kari Krome was and she was spinning some rock n glam n punk music helping out the Katrina-displaced musicians get back on their feet at the rockin benefit at Brooklyn's Magnetic Field. I didn't take any pictures because I was one of the organizers and hustled raffle tickets, pushed bake sale items and generally ran around "working."

However, I am proud to report that the punk and garage rock community did raise a serious amount of dough for their Southern-based friends and as they say, "the check is in the mail."
